Reasons Why I Love Girls #2: Their Quirks

by AtomW on March 19, 2009

zooey-deschanel2Everybody has their quirks. The illogical fears, superstitions, and weird habits. I have an irrational fear of guitar strings snapping and poking my eye out. Finding out the quirks is one of my favorite things about a girl. Let’s face it, who doesn’t love a quirky girl. Case in point: Zooey Deschanel. Everybody, myself included, loves Zooey. The thing is…can you name any really spectacular movie she’s been in. Now, I’m not pointing the finger at Zooey, far from it. I think she is the best part of a lot of movies she’s been in, but I’ve never seen a movie with her and thought, “Wow that’s a great movie.”

Ms. Descahanel aside, the quirks are what make us human. The hot girl with the fear of toilet snakes isn’t the Goddess you build her up to be. Maybe she tilts her head when she eats an ice cream cone. Whatever the case may be the quirks in a girl you like just make her that much more adorable. Quirky brunettes might just be my poison

  1. I’ve got a feeling you’re going to love this when it finally hits wide release. Big hit at Sundance.

  2. I have soooo many quirks, and I feel embarrassed by them!! Ha ha. Yet I too love the cute quirks in guys, no matter how odd they may be (although sometimes they can get annoying)…. ;)

  3. I love Zooey! I have a friend who looks almost identicle, and is quite quirky herself… maybe I should introduce you..

  4. Just how quirky are we talking here?

  5. haha, she’s from san fran (we go to school in washington) so she’s quite different from us washingtonians, we wear uggs and sweats out of necessity to keep warm… she wears tights/dresses with flats year round. She’s quite adorable.

  6. ah the tights/dress combo, a staple of the quirky girl.

  7. Seriously… and she really delivers. I mean… 3 ft of snow? no problem!
